Hi.

I thought the film was ok, worth watching. I enjoyed it. But I certainly won't get over excited about it.

The cinematography was ok, there were a lot of soft spots, but other than that ok.

The emotional scenes just didn't work with me. The whole 'kid died long ago, is re-united etc.' is just old. I wish they'd introduced the story of the young girl earlier on in the film. Perhaps they could have had random cut-ins of the family together. Cut-ins that didn't really make any sense until nearer the end. Like in 'Signs'.

Worth seeing but, it still leaves Hairspray as my top recent film...

Your thoughts on it?
Dan.

Soft spots? As in out of focus shots?

You can't edit the title of the thread anymore, can you?

Yeh, like when he is talking through the fridge to Samuel Jackson. And the shot where the camera is on a crane and shows the New York streets and it passes by, when he first comes to the hotel.

Ohhh crap... Tim?
