Hey all you SF Bay Area pros. I'm shooting a music video on 16mm on the 22nd of this month and I could definitely use the assistance of an AC who's looking to gain some experience.

So far, it's just a two location shoot down in Capitola near Santa Cruz. One INT and one EXT. Call time will be early in the morning with the martini shot before sundown.

If any AC's in the area who have experience with the Arri SR are available, I'd love to have you. This is seriously a zero budget gig, I don't even know if lunch will be provided yet, but I'll happily buy MY crew lunch.

It's being directed and "funded" by a flat broke student director and we'll be shooting an up-and-coming/starving rock band. But hey, regardless, it'll be a fun shoot.

Please get in touch with me if you're available. I already have a list of people I've contacted, but I would like to have as many candidates as possible. No Budget = People falling through to do other things, you know.

Thanks!

I don't live near there, but I wanted to tell you that I shot a feature film in Capitola last month and had a wonderful time. Capitola is quite pretty and scenic. We mostly shot at the beach near the pier and it was beautiful at anytime of the day. Good luck, you'll have a great time.

Thanks to all those who replied, this gig has fallen through, though.

It was just something simple to do between two other shoots, but the producer/director isn't showing any initiative in getting it done...he's just a kid who needs to get his priorities straight.

ahh well, life goes on.
