I have an Academy Award winning editor who uses Avid to cut with but we are committed to our new Apple 120TB SAN/Server and FCP editing systems. Is there an interface application for the Avid EDL to SAN/FCP?

Will the Avid accept QT wrappers?

the best way of translating an avid project to fcp is automatic duck- automatic duck though if you are talking about importing an edl in fcp then there is of course no problem. once and for all there is no such thing as an avid edl! so it depends if there are a number of tracks disolves etc then pay for an automatic duck license, if not cmx3600 from avid to fcp will do the job.
