I'm currently working on a film in London, set in the 17th and 18th century, the art dept want to use practicals in odd locations where they can't use candles.

My problem is, and I don't know if its solvable, the existing light fittings in the locations are SBC and the only candle bulbs acceptable art wise are SES. I'm not allowed to tamper with the existing practicals, therefore I have to adapt from one to the other if possible.

At one point a few years ago it was possible to get adaptors that plugged into a BC light pendant providing a power feed from which you could run another piece of equipment. These have become illegal and are obviously no longer available in the UK. So I want to know if they're available anywhere at all and if so are they available in Small BC.

Any help gratefully recieved
