Hey Guys,

Where is the best place to do a Super8 telecine/transfer in NYC? I really only know Du-All, A1, PAC lab. What are your opinions? Thanks!

Avoid PAC lab at all costs. Went there out of convenience a handful of times a few years back. Dont know about the others because I started sending my stuff out to Spectra and never looked back.

Thanks for the suggestion. Are there any other places you send you super8 footage?

This is a shameless plug but we do have a drop in NYC at the Standby program (www.standby.org) and have quietly been building a nice super8 deal over here at cinelab.

I fully agree here. PAC lab sends their film to Pro 8mm in Burbank, who by the way, do a great job. Problem is that PAC will overcharge you and then is never actually in control of their transfer process.
