Hi,

Very beautiful classic lenses, not as sharp as todays glass but you won't need any diffusion.

There is no good or bad; it's just what works best for your intended look. That being said, if you're looking for sharp, contrasty lenses, these aren't for you.

i know its all subjective, but from a sharpness perspective, could they be used today and accepted as a quality image?

Think of how much smaller today's theatre screens are than the ones in the 60s, when it was one screen per theatre.

& who is the audience who will be judging the image quality?
