My forum layout recently changed. Every reply is now in a branch arrangement rather than being all open in the same thread. How do I get it back to the other, MUCH easier to navigate, way? I haven't changed any of my settings.

P.S. Didn't know where to stick this as there isn't a tech forum.

In the upper right corner of the thread there's an "options" box.

Click that and you'll see the "Display Mode." Select "Standard."

I'm not sure why it changes sometimes, but it's happened to me before too.

Same has happened to me at times but has rectified itself withour me needing to take any 'options' action. It's nice to know though Michael, that you give as thorough advice here, in 'non-shooting' threads, as you do in the 'shooting' threads

Well I just happened to know that one because it's happened to me.

What I don't know is how to get the cookies that retain my login status to stop expiring so quickly, or at seemingly arbitrary times. Sometimes I can stay "logged in" for over a day, other times it expires within an hour.
