Travis,

Overall a great reel. Excellent lighting and camera-work. I especially like your use of backlight. It doesn't feel overdone or unnatural, but creates nice separation and punch.

Other thoughts:

It takes too long to download. I don't think any potential employer would wait as long as I did to watch it.

The mood of the music is good, but maintains an even tone throughout, so the reel seems to do the same. I would consider a more dynamic piece of music.

My least favorite shots are the faux bleach-bypass/sepia shots. It seems like they are for a flashback? They seem a bit overdone, and enhance the blown highlights.

Kudos!

I agree that the file download takes too long. There was no progress bar, so I had no idea how long it would take to load. That might be a coding issue.

Overall, the reel looks very controlled and professional.

There are a couple very quick shots that look like flash frames right around the time we see the waitress walking toward the camera. One shot has a man's reflection in front of a mirror and a woman standing there, and the next shot has the woman there with open wounds. Those shots go by so fast that I had to step through to even see what they were, and even then there is no consistency from one frame to the next because exposure ramps up and down. Those shots don't serve a purpose on your reel. If we can't see the images, we can't judge the image quality. I'd take them out.

Thanks guys for your critique I will take them into consideration. There are some coding issues and it does take way to long to download. I am going to fix that right away.

Thanks
