Hi, Im shooting a musicvideo with a 60P varicam next month in the US and most of it will be 50fps for double speed playback sync. Back home in europe I´ll downconvert to SD on a panasonicdeck and framerateconverter to 25P.

Whats the correct setting on the camera to shot 50fps? (60Hz or 59Hz) Also am I likely to get flickering lights at any of these Hz settings? (Im using lots of dischange and neonlights)

thanks

You must reset the Master Clock to 60 (not 59.94) and then set the camera to 50p. Use the Sychro Scan electronic shutter to eliminate flicker.
