Hi

I have been set a project at uni in which i will need to create pictures with a filmic quiality ( of course i strive for this on all projects!) i am restricted to a PD150 due to the steadicam that we have here can only effectively hold the said camera.

So i am just wondering if anyone could share their knowledge on making pictures from the PD150 look really good.

Oh yea this is my first post so hi

Hey,

Well in my opinion it would be best to shoot it in standard mode and then use After Effects with Magic Bullet plug-in that will give it a filmier quality. It also removes digital artifacts and does a pretty good job I think.

The only limitation is Steady cam? Isn't there anyway to modify it? I would try to find a way if I could use a better camera.

If you can find one a 35mm adapter will make all the difference. Even if you use stills lenses (though these lenses breathe when you focus pull - as opposed to film 35mm lenses) it will make everything look cinematic. You need to keep an eye on focus though - no pun intended.
