Hi
Great site and my first post

I?ve always been interested in film making but never really had the means, living in Northern Ireland it?s not that accessible and with a family finance is always an issue when wanting to enrol on a course which is expensive
Anyway i bought a cheap Sony dv handycam £175 and shot this short movie
It?s not perfect
It only took an hour to film and 3 hours to compile on pc. One thing I?ve learned dv video is terrible for slow motion probably due to the separate fields or something or most likely the cheap camcorder
So give me your thoughts, do you think i should enrol at the college or give it up as a bad job. The only reason im asking is because i don?t know anyone else that is even interested in movie making

Thanks
Steven
