I was wondering if it were possible to double expose Super 8 film somehow. Any way to "rewind" the cartridge after shooting an 18% grey card.

Another question is this...

I'm trying to shoot something to look like old black and white film that has been colorized (like bad old public domain monster movies). We can only edit this project by hand, no NLE systems are not possible.

My Professor told me that the colors could be distorted if you shoot an 18% grey card and backwind, but it isn't possible to do this with Super 8 film. Anyone?
