Problem: Tape shot on a Varicam set to 60Hz (720 60P). Will edit on an Avid XPress. Will use an Panasonic AJ-HD1200A DVC Pro 50 HD deck and Panasonic AJ-FRC27 Framerate converter to get the material into my avid Xpress via firewire. The tape has both 25fps and 50fps material on it that will be synced with a song in normal and double speed for a musicvideo.

Is it possible to convert it to 25P or should I try to get it into a 24P project in avid. How do I convert the different speeds on the tape with the framerateconverter?

...and why didn´t we shoot it on film instead? :)
