I am thinking about getting a light meter such as Sekonic L-358. I shoot mostly HD video, but occasionally I light for theater and corporate presentations.

My question is, do any of you find this meter helpful, if so then under what conditions? I don't think the L-358 gives you a Footcandle reading, is there a easy manual conversion?

Thanks in advance for any advice.
