I just bought this program at best buy for $150 (also included photoshop elements).
This is a bare-boned premiere programs but inlcudes chroma-keying functions which I'm excited about.
What can you guys tell me about "premiere" in general..anything exciting or warnings.

I had used premier pro in the past, and it's a pretty nice little editing package, fine for miniDV stuff, and as easy to use IMHO as FCP. As for elements, I would assume it's basically the same, but be careful about codec support (eg HDV/DVCPRO etc) as it might not be in there.
