RGB to DV25 over Firewire

Anyone know of a box that will directly transcode RGB from a camera to DV25 over Firewire?

I've got a 35mm KEM telecine with a Sony RGB camera on the way and I want to be able to plug its output into my AVID Xpress DV Pro.

I have figured out I can do it in two steps: An RGB to S-video encoder and then into a Canopus ADVC-55 S-video to DV25 over Firewire converter. Are any of the "industrial" quality RGB/S-video encoders any good or will I have to go to a broadcast quality box?

Problem solved: It turns out the camera does have a Y/C AKA S-video output available somewhere. It's a Sony XC-711 and I'll have to get a manual from Sony with the pinouts and options.
