Saw it last night. Not bad, not great, but it had some witty dialogue and fun moments.
I only thought it was worth posting here for its use of smoke. It seems like using smoke for diffusion rather than as "an effect with cool shafts of light" is relatively rare nowadays. But you can see it throughout the film in most of the interior scenes. It created a nice low contrast look to the film and gave some dimension to the background during the basic coverage that was done of the foreground.
If your better half wants to see it, at least you kind of have this reason to not battle too much against the idea
