I have an Nizo s560 I've yet to test, mostly because I recieved it with defects from the Super 8 Camera Shop that I'm trying to fix. It also has a cigarette smell I can't get rid of.

Anyway, for what it's worth, here's a sample of my Argus/Cosina 7310 with some Fuji Velvia 50D.

A top flight Argus/Cosina would likely be able to compete with a lower end Nizo such as a 1048, but I couldn't be sure, I've owned neither of these cameras. I'm sure the mechanics of the Argus are sound, the lenses may be a bit dubious, again I don't know. If you can get a high end Argus that you know works for something like $20-$30 then I'd say go for it, you could use the money you saved over a Nizo to buy goods. But as a camera the Nizo will be superior in just about every way.
