Hi,
I've heard only the latest ACL mags (two parts pressure plate) should be used for super 16 . Any expert"s opinion about this?
Marc.

I am not an expert. But I have used older mags on S16 ACL's and they work fine IF they are scratch tested and modified as needed beforehand. While I am sure the two part pressure plate design is better for S16 (S16 Aaton [and other cameras'] mags are two part pressure plate also), there is no reason why a properly mantained and tested older mag is simply not good enough for the job at hand.

Hi,
Thank you for your answer, it makes sense. My apologies for posting this topic twice by mistake.
