Hello there,
I am currently preparing a short feature to be shot in about 2 months time and am looking for all information on the visual approach for the film ' the insider' shot by Dante Spinnotti and Michael Mann. Especially concerning lighting and development process.

I tried Google and the American Cinematographer Page, but had no luck. Any books, articles are a great help!

Thank you!

There was a short article in the AC covering the Oscar nominated films. Shot on Panavision, with Primos, some Shift & Tilt and the Frazier lens. Super 35 with an optical blowup. I don't recall the filmstocks, but they won't be around anymore anyway.
