I picked up a B&H Filmo 70 KR to play with, but I'm wondering if it's in fact a double run 8mm and not a regular 16mm. It DOES say 16mm on it, and the lens are C-mount, but one of them is a 0.7 inch and is so small that it has me wondering.

Anyone had one of these?
Thanks

Hi- It's undoubtedly a 16mm, look at the gate and it should be pretty obvious (I don't think any B&H 70 model would be double 8mm, but I suppose there could be an odd-ball out there). I had one of those tiny .7' lenses too. Have fun, it should be a great camera!

Patrick,

Thank you.

I was weirded out by that little lens, like "WTH is this, a thimble!?".

I've only had Bolex, so this isn't as feature rich, but it runs like a dream and can accept a 400' mag, motor and hopefully a Pan Cinor, so it should be fun. It came from an airforce base.

Thanks Again.

It's not a retrofocus design. You should see some of the old 15mm lenses which are almost flush with the turret.
