Which Camera Mount?

What's the type of camera mount that was used in Requiem for a Dream and seems to be used in all of the "reality" ghost shows nowadays? It's the one that's attached to the body and moves with it to keep the body pretty centered.

I think I Am Legend used that a couple of times (correct me if i'm wrong). Even though it kinda takes you out of the experience I love going to the theaters and trying to figure out how exactly they attained the shots they get.
