Hi

Im wondering about some of the strobe strategies employed in this clip .

Sometimes the strobe appears to cross over Jay-z's face. Is this a programmed light? Post Production? Flick of a reflector?

I would also very much appreciate any commentary on laser-esque backlights. Are robot show lights the way to go? Are they strong enough to keep up with warm fill at 250 asa? Are they difficult to program?

Thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure the laser-esque lights in the background are actually show lasers, there has been a bit of a comeback lately and the newer gear is pretty cool, there still seems to be a fair bit of post embellishment though. As with mover like the Martin MAC series I would most definitely get an experienced board operator to program and run them.
