Weight limit of Mole Richardson stand

Anyone have a rough idea of how much weight these stands would support?

Also, is 8 and a half feet as a maximum height suitable for most basic light setups?

That type of Mole stand is a bit flimsy. Think small lights with this.

it doesnt look like they've any support between the legs and the central column. If they're what im thinking then ive used 300w arri's on something similar to these and even then it felt a bit flimsy.

probably better off saving for something a bit more versatile in my opinion.

Those are Baby Blade Stands... we only use them for 'work' lights... they barely hold a small sand bag and are basically useless for set lighting.. visit www.AmericanGrip.com and get a real stand.
