I'm about to embark on making what I am calling PODS, short teaching aids made to demonstrate a technique, method, or general how to for lighting, camera, framing etc. These will go on my website. Examples: bathroom setting and considerations. wooded area at night. Sunlight. Lens length and framing. Camera movement and motivation. Documentary and how to create a good doc feel with shots, Close ups and considerations in various settings from dinner for two to a fight between a couple. Dining room set ups. Bed room set ups. Morning, noon and night and creating a time of day visually. Filtration. Matching sun and clouds. Color and psychological effects. Etc. Wondering if anyone is in western Mass this summer. I'm in Amherst. Figure I'd spend a day or a few doing a bunch of them from morning to night. What you get is basically a free day with me to learn and experiment. It will be fun and very educational.
