I realize I've never actually posted any grabs or anything here. Mainly that's because everything I've worked on in the past two years is still being polished and going on the fest scene next year so I don't want to ruin that by "public exhibition." I decided then to post some archaic grabs of a few things I did years ago.

The first couple of grabs are from my digital past when I owned a Canon XL2. I made a few shorts and these are from those shorts.

The rest of the grabs are from a tester roll of Ektachrome 64t I shot when I first got my Sankyo 620-xl a few years ago. I did a home transfer as I didn't want to spend the money for Rank. I had mentioned the softness of this in previous threads. I sortof like the color rendition but I just couldn't generate enough light to shoot @ 5.6 like I prefer. These shots were almost wide open. All modern stock I shoot, I get transfered via Rank. I also refuse to shoot wide open.

Ok, let me have it.

Well, the XL stuff isn't bad, it just looks like XL stuff, ya know?
But, that T64 really floored me. It reminds me very much so of the old pictoralism movement from when photography first started and I loved it. It really has a ghostly, almost bygone feel to it (minus the McDonald's cup).
Looking forward ot seeing more when/if the time comes.

Thanks Adrian.

If anyone is interested in seeing the actual footage from the test roll (compressed for the net, that is), here is the link:
