I admire your intent. I would advise you to proceed with caution.
I say this after spending 18 years doing this, and running a rental house for the last 10 years.
Your profile says you are in the camera department. Why get into the grip department?
Your plan will work only if you :
a. Are an exceptional grip who is extremely sought after, and can therefore bundle your equipment into the deal, if the producer really wants you.
b. You have an exceptionally hard to come by piece of equipment, which will then put you in a position to sell yourself along with your gear.
You will struggle to match the prices that full blown rental houses can offer, and if you are not a great Grip, why would a producer hire you , if he can find the same equipment at the same or better prices, along with a more experienced Grip?
Dan Brocketts points should be carefully considered before putting your money into something you may struggle with in the future.
Having said all of this, if we have read the situation wrong and you have thought this through, the Enlouva with Power Pod is a good sturdy ststem. I personally prefer the Giraffe to the Enlouva, but thats just me. Would you be getting track for the Crane? I would recommend you do.
If you are not buying a dolly, why buy the accessories, like offsets etc? Most rental companies you get the dolly from would throw those in for free, or a half day week. What track are you thinking of buying?
I feel your 1 tonne truck may be too small for a crane and dolly package.
You will also have to carry some amount of cribbing, dance floor, etc.
I also think a basic rigging package should be thought about.
