Hi, is there a way to connect a The MARK Vb Director's Viewfinder to a digital camera?
I know this may sound silly but this could be really usefull. Instead of capturing good diseried angles and framings into your brain you could put them on a flash card and share them with anyone you need.
thanks

Isn't that what a still camera is for? Digital or Film still cameras would do the exact samething.

I agree, this is actualy how we do now, we take pictures of the desired framings and angles with 400D, discuss them and then shot with our DVCAM. But there is no still camera that could see exactly like a 2/3 inch video lense, 35 mm or 16 mm, since photo, film and video have different aspect ratios. You could be very close to film with full frame digital still camera, but not to video.

This is what the P&S converter was originally. A directors finder you could videotape the image w/ a DV camera. PL mount, I don't know if anything else....

I don't see anything like it on their site tho -- but maybe ask them ----
