Our Omnimax theatre isn't playing it, and the IMAX Theatre locator I found online won't even look for theatres more than 25 mi. away from home. I don't care how far away the damned thing is, just as long as I can see the film there tomorrow, and I don't have to drive a mile farther than is necessary.

Thanks!

BTW, I know an average movie ticket here is in the $7.50 range. What'll an IMAX ticket set me back? It'll be more, obviously, but how much more???

Thanks for the info Dee. I was thinking that maybe Pbgh. or Detroit or Indiana might have been closer.

Wanna go with me??? ;)

I'll let you know if I can get tickets. . .

Two suggestions, start using zip codes away from you to expand your search. Also, do a google search in which you type in the city you are comfortable going to, the word Imax, and the name of your movie
in quotes, "The Dark Knight".

My wife and I are driving 7 hrs. to Atlanta to catch it at the Regal IMAX in Buford. It's supposed to be a new installation and have awesome sound. We're waiting 'till August 1 and 2 so we can see Batman on Friday and Return To Forever on Saturday. I can leave or take Chick Corea. But, Stanley Clarke, Al Di Meola and Lenny White are Fusion GODS.

Looks like I may have to brush up on my Canadian if I am to have any hope of seeing this film anywhere at all tomorrow. How many meters in a mile again? ;-)

Damn, looks like I won't be able to see it until Sunday.

Just for the record, the closest IMAX theatre (besides our dysfunctional Omnimax Theatre) is the Henry Ford IMAX Theatre in Dearborn Michigan at a little over 100 miles away from here.
