I need to ask, because I've searched and can't get a fine definition of what it means.
Anyone here care to enlighten me? I have an idea, but not sure if it's right.

It's the same thing as "staging", choreographing the movements of the actors for the shot. You do a blocking rehearsal to figure out where the actors will stand or sit or where they will move in coordination with the camera placement and lens, though some will block and then figure out how to cover it with a camera, while others will block while looking through a lens. Usually it's a mix. Sometimes you just need rough positions and after the actors step off for make-up, etc. you adjust their marks with stand-ins in front of the actual lens.

When the actors return, you do a camera rehearsal to see if it all works for camera and sound.

Though these days I am hard-pressed to get either a blocking rehearsal or a camera rehearsal anymore -- they just want you to shoot whatever the actors do after giving them vague notions on where to stand. Certainly a final camera rehearsal is going the way of the dodo bird, you're expected to shoot the rehearsal as a first take.
