Just saw a thread about the A-Cam (http://www.ikonoskop.com/) going digital on the reduser forum. I checked their webpage but there is not so much info about it, but it sounds interesting. Of course, at reduser they saw no use for it since Scarlet is coming out..

It would be cool if they integrated a mechanical shutter on it, like the Kinoptic and the Aaton film camera with the digital back do. AND A FRIGGING OPTICAL VIEWFINDER WOULD BE NICE!!!!

Also, a c-mount lens port would be excellent, which is where the Scarlet falls terribly short, in addition to my other two wish list items.

Wonder who is behind the technology. Developing a motion picture camera (digital or otherwise) from scratch is neither cheap nor easy.

Will see, not much info on the net about it.
