indieroad.net. New site, seems like it could get pretty big. anyone know more about it? all I know is indie filmmakers can post their films and make some money each time it?s downloaded.

they?ve got a few films on it already?I really liked ?Hair of the Dog.?

seems like a cool idea to me

I really hope one of these types of sites takes off soon, as there is a real need for people to be able to see product that does not receive main stream distribution.

The biggest problem with these sites so far is that the biggest customers tend to be other filmmakers. I don't know of one of these sites that has taken off with the non-film making public. I guess YouTUBE would be the closest thing, although that content is free and people don't usually watch two hour features on YouTUBE.

The sites that are successful with this model distribute the same Hollywood fair that you can find in the video store, so that's not really a fair comparison.

Any way good luck to www.indieroad.net
