Has anybody seen this one? Some of the most gorgeous cinematography and in-camera effects that I've--- EVER!

If I had not read what I've found about it, i'd suppose most of the eye-candy was CGI.

this just came out on DVD and I highly recommend it.

Great film that looks amazing, although the imagery skirts dangerously close to looking like one of those huge bank commercials at times.

Not a single scene is CGI.
Locations shot 23 countries over 4 years.

Brilliant film.

Totally agree. Thought the film looked fantastic but the story just threw me off a lot.

Yeah, this was all done in camera (with the exception to the priest's face in the desert) and it is just amazing.

I don't see why people don't like the story, I love it. If you watch it again and look at it as a romance between Roy and Alexandria (I know, gross, but just do it) it becomes a lot more meaningful.
