Hi,

We were using a Sony F35 and I have lots of questios about how to use Slog or Hypergamma footage.

We captured 10bits RGB 4:4:4 with a Blackmagic Multibridge with dual link HDSDI ( the images are low contrast and milky) and when we tried to make the DPX files (directly from the captured file, no post at all) with FrameLink, the rich detailed whites were flat.

Is there a book, pdf or someone that can explain me what I'm doing wrong? or how we have to handle this log footage?

Thanks

Go into Framelink's settings ("Blackmagic Framelink" in control panel if you're on Windows, not sure on a Mac) and set "Process Maximum White As..." from whatever it is to whatever it isn't.

Thanks Phil

No such thing as "Process Maximum White As..." at FrameLink pref on MAC (what I'm using) nither on decklinks control panel.

I downloaded both manuals (MAC and WIN) and Framlink is a very simple application.

I'm trying to get some image samples.
