I know this may sound like an odd request, but is there any way to find work in Budapest Hungary as a cinematographer?

thanks

Maybe you can contact Janos Xantus, he is a professor at the Hungarian film school and also the course director of the Budapest Cinematography Masterclass. Maybe he can point you in the right direction if you ask him really nicely. He is a very, very nice man and loves helping out students. I met him last year when I was invited to attend the masterclass. One thing though, Budapest is a small place and the cinematographers who come out of the film school are really, really good! You might face some stiff competition!!

Didn't you just post the other day saying how all you ever wanted to do your whole life was direct?

My passion is directing But I spend much of my time lighting and editing. Lighting and controlling the visual image is like second nature to me. The only reason I mentioned it was because I feel that Directing is so completive and some times feel it is hopeless for someone and come along and say "Would you direct my film."
