what should I use to clean the prism

Hi, My kem 16 table has a prism that rotates in close contact with the film and it always gets dirty. I wonder which kind of product i could use to clean the prism and if it would exist any antistatic solution i could apply to it. CHeers

optical prisms use a very soft glass which is easily scratched. Start by blowing off dirt with compressed air. If you must, use lens cleaning solution and lens paper (very gently) to clean off the prism.

Isopropanol, an alcohol, from your drugstore. Cotton swab

What do you mark the film with ? Throw away all grease (China) pencils, only felt markers !
