Hi,
I am directing and producing a multi-camera event shoot the end of November. The main action will be outdoors, with some interviews
taking place indoors between games. I have not produced a multi camera event before and would like some suggestions as to where
to find resources (books, DVDs, etc). I will probably end up being the DP as well, although I hope I will be free from operating a camera
myself. I need to know which cameras to obtain that will produce footage that I can edit into the same program. Also, camera settings
and any other tips and tricks to get some great footage. There is a chance that this event will lead to a full documentary and I will follow
the event coordinator to other venues. I would like to be able to use the footage to produce a program to be televised. It is also
possible that this will end up onscreen at film festivals. And, the coordinator would like to be able to use some clips on a DVD to show
potential venues. Any information is appreciated.
Thanks,
Kevin
