Hi

I am a film student currently about to shoot a 16mm film on an Arriflex

How would I successfully create the look of morning light when I am shooting at about 1pm-2pm in the afternoon?

Thank you for your time

Can we have a bit more information? Is this an interior or exterior? What is your lighting package?

Keeping a light at a low angle and a bit warm will suggest either a sun lit morning or evening look.

Agreed. Only a master Cinematographer will be able to completely recreate a certain light, save yourself the bother and shoot early on.
