Hi,

I'm looking for some films with beautiful exterior visuals. Does anyone know of any good films with a beach or a field or anything that has landscapes or the environment? Anything 'lyrical'?

I hope this isn't too vague but any references to films with beautifully shot exteriors would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ashley.

This could be a really really long list given enough time . . .

Some tops that come to mind immediately when I think lyrical would be The Thin Red Line and the New World. This doesn't even begin to barely scratches the surface though!

-Nostalghia
-Stalker
-Sacfrifice (Offret)
-Mother and Son
-Edge of Heaven

If "Lawrence of Arabia" doesn't have lyrical landscapes, I don't know what does.

Like said previously there are so many that it seems not right to mention one without all the others. I would however always include Days of Heaven!

Do any of these films include beaches?

I'm trying to get nice coverage of the beach and wanted to some inspiration..
