Hi, does anyone know if the Canon 1014 E Auto-Zoom has a built in 85 outdoor filter? I am curious because I have never used a filter on my outdoor shoots, but my footage looks fine (no blue tint). However, if there is no filter then I want to buy one to get as warm of an image as possible. Thanks All!

It does have a built in daylight filter which by default is always "on" or in place unless it is moved out of the way by a plastic screw that gets inserted on the camera's top. This moves the filter out of the way (unless your cartridge does it for you). The screw is red, has a "bulb" icon on it, and should be on the camera's underside. No tools are needed, it was designed to be done by hand. If missing, I magine a similiar sized screw should do the trick.

Art Leal is right - I have this camera but the filter screw he describes is missing. I use a screw from an old tripod base plate - its exactly the right size. Some people on here are saying you dont need to bother using the built in filter with some of the new NEGATIVE stocks esp if you are able to colour correct in post. I can email you a copy of the instruction manual if you need it.
