Weird question - someone dropped tea in a box containing my grip fabrics and now they have a stain - can I just wash them in a machine at low temp?

I assume so...

thanks

Try asking here:

And go to "Ask Al".

Otherwise I'd assume coldwater handwashing with an appropriate soap would work. Just don't use starch ;)

Hi Rolfe,
Rocket Film Equipment, who produce textiles amongst other things have this guide on their site.

Cleaning Guide from Rocket Film Equipment Website:

CLEANING GUIDE FOR TEXTILES

We at Rocket Film Equipment recommend textiles be washed in cold water using a mild detergent. All textiles should be blocked dry on the proper frame to prevent shrinkage. Ensure textiles are dry before storing. After cleaning, flame retardant may have been removed. Note: we have had success using this cleaning method but will not be
held responsible for the results.

Cheers,
Matt.
