I'm trying to recreate the shift focus shot from the title sequence in HOUSE for a class project. For those of you unfamiliar with it, It starts out with a shot of a Ct-Scan (i think). Focus is then pulled to reveal the character staring at it. The shot was originally a part of the Pilot episode. Comparing the Wideshot to the original shot you can tell that they are shooting THROUGH the ct-scan image. Now here is the question, which I hope some one can answer. Can you shoot through a normal Ct-scan or was this done with a special one that was transparent?
