also that new video 'kids' just read the waveforms and the images look like total garbage, example, a scene in a film that was supposed to be in a darkened theater, when the video 'kid' was finished just tweaking the waveforms the result was so overexposed that the scene looked like someone pulled the roof off of the theater and the sun was pouring in.

who is timing your project? Are they relying on a waveform to time your film print?
ha ha, no way in hell.... if you believe in such things. initial first light is female with years and years of large format FILM experience. at the screening of the print to check timings for the release print, some big guns from UCLA film archive and ex-employee of CFI are coming along.
