Hey all, I shot on 16mm and had it transfered to DV. This is a dumb question but in order to get the original frame rate and sync everything up, would i import to FCP at 24fps? Thanks!

Hi!! asuming the camera runs at 24 fps and the sound recorder goes 24 frames per second too the best way is to capture the mini dvs as it is, 29.97 ntsc and the pass all youre media trough cinema tools reverse telecine to convert the clips to 24fps. do not overwrite the original clips if you have hard drive space.

best wishes!
