Hi I got a k-3 s16 camera, and I was wondering if the standard zoom lens will cover the s16mm gate?
so how wide can I keep the lens,or do I even have to worry about that?

Was your lens mount recentered? If not, the Meteor zoom will only cover the full S16 frame above 24mm or so. If it was recentered then it should cover a little lower than that. Your viewfinder was probably not enlarged so you won't be able to tell until you see the film.

Any m42 mount lens meant for a 35mm still camera will cover the whole S16 frame.
