I shot this with a Canon XL2. I never edited before so I had like two days to learn the program, edit and meet the deadline. Anyways hope its makes you chuckle. :)

The only thing I noticed is that you broke the 180 degree rule.... by placing him on the left hand side for some shots, and then on the right hand side for the two shots. This is typically avoided, since it tends to take the viewer out of the piece.

As for your commercial. It's nice but the sound could use improvement. And that guy could use some milk.

Marvelous. I never went to to filmschool. I just learned everything from experimenting for myself and reading up on the invalueable goldmine of information thats in this website. I guess 180 degree rule is something I didn't pay much attention too.

As for the sound I absolutely get you. I wish I had a mixer but I don't. I plugged straight into the canon XL2 and used these extremely shitty headphones i bought for like 8 bucks for monitoring. I did this on short notice lol.
