Wow, has time passed. I haven't been on this board forever. I was building a new reel and I forgot that I never posted my newest project.

We shot this a couple months back in San Francisco.
Crew of 8 amazing people and I think it was our best short to date.

Technical Specs:
Hvx-200 with firestore
P+S 35 adapter with rented Zeiss Super Speeds
Mini jib for the final shot

Best!

Kirk,
Good spot, except for the last shot. It's too wanky. There is some camera bobble that is very distracting, which is a shame because the shot of the shoes just before that is great. Other than that I like it a lot.

Thanks guys,
So my genius plan was to start on the shoes and jib up to the golden gate bridge as the surfer ran into the ocean.....

the jib couldn't go high enough, I needed an extra two feet. In post we tried a lot of different versions but ended up reversing the jib up shot and having it end on the shoes.

I learned a lot though, never leave your most complicated shot for the last one of the day.

Thanks for the input!
