Hi,

has anyone of you measured (or shot some test footage) what color temperature the quartz torches put out? I'm talking about those commonly sold for worklight flood lamps. Do they mix well with 3200K sources?

I feel the light of the 250W and 300W versions is quite on the warm side, the 500W and 1kW feel a bit more like tungsten balanced. Has anyone actually measured those?

Those would be fine in china balls.. CTB-ing them wouldn't be very pretty...

Greetings,
Marc

I've found many of these prac type fixtures typically measure around 2800K. It can depend a little on the age too. The reflectors can age and change the CT.

I also find most tungsten film sources are closer to 3000K so there's not much difference.
