Hi all,

I have some expired stock (EXR 100T, 200T, 250T, 500T) that seems to be from 1997 (!).
(Supposedly I'd have to massively overexpose to get some "normal" results, and I think the 500T is basically worthless by now...)

The labs seem to offer a "strip test" or "clip test" for checking.
Can anyone tell me what I should expect this to costs and what amount of material is needed for this?

Thanks & Greetings,
Marc

It should be a free service, but if you have a lot of rolls then maybe they'll charge you. Still, processing is charged by the foot so it won't be much at all. They only need around two feet of each roll.

Lab prices are negotiable. If you do regular business with a lab, or promise to have the film you're having tested processed / transferred by them, or if you're a student / independent filmmaker with limited funds and explain that to them, you can usually get simple services for free or next to free.
