Hi

I found some film in the fridge at the film co-op I work at
Its not in its original can,and all it says on a piece of tape is EXR 50D 7245 60ft unexposed
Im about to do some tests with our Ultra 16mm camera and when I was in the change bag I relised the film is double perf?
I know EXR 50d is a couple years old, but I didnt relies they still make double perf film?
also double perf film is still okay to shoot Ultra 16mm right?

Actually there are a few types that they stock in double perf.

Until super 16 caught on, double perf was almost the default for camera negative, with stock being likly to be double perf. the thought at the time was that you could just ignore the extra holes if you did not need them, but some Cameras could not handle single perf.

Ultra trys to fit "between the perfs" so you can probaly get away with it. since you are just making a test anyway, worst you are likly to do is get some perforation shadows in the corner of your frames.
